Olive drab canvas with webbing straps and brass and steel fasteners. The bottom flap has one strap (brass tipped) for fastening it up, two side rings to clip on arm straps on back and a divided webbing strap to adjust depth. There is some staining on the inside. The back and sides are one piece, the flaps folding in. The exterior has a row of bound eyelets along the bottom to receive the carrier, three straps and three buckles on the sides to secure the flaps in position and a combination of two suspender straps and hooks (one hook missing) and one adjustable strap and hook to fasten to the ammunition belt. The top flap is badly stained. It has a meat can pouch attached with leather lacing and having a brass button closure. There is also a flap with two eyelets and two eyelets on the left.
